About Central Park
Dr. Khuthaila and all native New Yorkers believe that all out of town visitor should dedicate at least one day to exploring and enjoying Central Park. Central Park was created by the New York State Legislature in 1853 as America’s first major landscaped public park. In 1979, the Central Park Conservancy was created and they have spent the past 35 years turning the park into a beautiful oasis between the Upper East and Upper West Sides. Visitors of all ages can find something to enjoy in Central Park, such as visiting the Central Park Zoo, ice skating in the winter, boating in the summer, and the Carousel. Beatles fans can visit Strawberry Fields, art enthusiast can hunt for the many sculptures and fountains throughout the park, and all visitors who get tired of the hustle and bustle of the city can relax in the Shakespeare Garden. Explore on your own or join a tour group, but don’t miss a chance to visit Central Park.
